Does biking/walking/running burn the same calories over the same distance?
According to the Internet I burn the same amount of calories if I bike, walk, or run 3 miles. How can this be true? I swear I look better and more in shape when I run versus when I bike or walk. Is it just excess water weight loss during sweating when running? Is there another mechanism at play?
