The hell of a difference does $100 mil net worth vs $1 bil net worth make?

At that stage do you just compete with other rich people? There's clearly a difference between having 1 million saved vs 10 million or hell even a whopping 50 million but once you get super high to a 9 figure net worth--it seems rather impossible trying to obtain something you've never had or tried before

Realistically nothing but the difference in “infinite” money vs 100 million is astronomical. You can blow through 100 million dollars if you’re an idiot

It would take ungodly levels of deprivation and self sabotage to blow a billion dollar fortune.

100 mil and you can buy as many houses and cars as you like...

You can travel and eat out everyday..

Live the average plebs dream life basically..

When you have billions, you tell world leaders what to do...

You tell the media what to say..

You influence and control society itself...

While nother level..

It becomes less about materialism and more about power..

You think musks 200 billion is alot?

There's banks, governments, families and institutions controlling 10s of trillions.

If I was rich I’d want a new gulfstream 650 . Theres 65 million US gone already , not to mention hanger fees, pilot , sloot etc.
with 100 million you’d be broke very quickly after getting a decent estate, super cars and toys.
I’d feel much better with a billion
Back with my Fam

The difference is the billionaire can blow 100 million in a year and have it not touch the principal while the 100 millionaire will be broke.

Likely no difference in terms of quality of life and such, greater ability to operate as an allocator of capital though these numbers are still small in the big picture

The US Govt collected almost $5trillion in income tax last year, let that sink in

Just yachts, high end private planes and sports teams. And of course, political power.

Lol you don’t even need to use stock returns boyo, notes against holdings paid off by dividends and bundle a ton of chit up in wealth mgmt. then never pay anything off unless it’s with dividends until you have some rough years not making proper returns, and claim all your capital gains during the loss years.

Usually the difference is a personal private jet that you own
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

$100 mil = super rich

$1 billion = independently wealthy

The latter begins to get you beyond money. With a billion you can start to own systems of wealth.

Anyone worth $100million is already a big piece of their + other economies

The upper echelon, business founders and such, get to throw that money around into areas where they think it will produce the greatest returns and that's where you get into the efficiency of public vs private capital allocation. All of this is just designed to get society producing more and more and better things, allocating $$$ (aka resources) to make it happen most effectively.

The bulk of what hasn't been allocated during the person's lifetime can be spread out after death
