With overwhelming 8-9/10 reviews for this game I'm kinda surprised this isn't on one of the first pages here already.



$50 game, can play solo or with up to 2 other people, reviewers consider it to be a soulslike-shooter with lots of unique twists. Procedurally generated levels, even the story itself is allegedly different for every playthrough. Some of the boss fights appear to be like something we've never seen before.

I took vacation to play Diablo 4 Season 1, but this game might be the monkeywrench to pull me away from it.

But I think I'll give it a while and wait for some more trustworthy reviews. Have been burned too many times with third person shooters.
Xbox is having a huge 2-3 months coming up.

The first game was a an absolute diamond in the rough- Especially at launch there were rough elements but going into it with a friend blind was an absolute treat. As the DLC's came out it was clear they had run out of time or money while making the base game and had learned from their mistakes.

The main selling point is that it does multiplayer right- Your character progresses even while in other players worlds and it's easy to hop in and out of games, and is all very intuitive. The sequel I have only played around 10 hours or so but so far it looks like they are really upping their game- Even the bosses that reuse assets are well done and feel distinct, and the unique bosses have been huge and not dependent on spamming adds at you(think similar to the bridge fight in the first game).

If you have a friend to play it with, it's a no brainer to give the game a whirl. It's been a very challenging but rewarding experience so far on veteran mode.

Thinking about scooping this, alot of streamers loving this game, I like the idea of a dark souls style game but based around shooting.

Game is really fun. I'm a huge dark souls fan so I got addicted to this pretty easily. I only wish the devs would update how much scrap you get because it's way too low.

Would rate the game a solid 8, 8.5 in coop.

How is matchmaking? None of the homies getting this game so I'm gunna either solo or just try to random fill

It's pretty populated, you won't have any problems. I've read that there's hackers (always) but I haven't experienced any. Playing solo is really fun too. Some classes are better for solo or groups but you can play anything really.

It's cool that the order you visit worlds, the bosses you get, the loot, it's all random. Like after I beat the game I looked up bosses, and several of them I didn't even have the chance to fight. You can redo worlds though really easily in adventure mode, go back for different loot, up the difficulty, etc.

I like the bow and the dog.

Also, like how they made climb and roll the same button. So instead of climbing onto ledges if you aren't perfectly aligned you just roll off instead and die.

50 bucks for some random flavour of the week streamer bait where you get to run around in brown/red corridors and can occasionally shoot some bullet sponges that just kinda float/walk?

Checked the vid posted by freeburn, bunch of retards screaming at their screens and saying how great the game is while walking around doing nothing.

Another LOOT garbage game. Although the mechanics look good.

Game has been extremely fun. Can be pretty challenging at times even on “easy” but it’s rewarding. Lots of hidden mechanics, a few fun puzzles, etc.
