What hormones/markers to get checked in a blood test?

Want to go for a blood test to check overall health and test levels, but also don't want to spend a fortune. There are so many different tests. Thoughts and ideas?

Get a metabolic panel. A blood test should cost no more than $200, and should be free or at low cost with insurance. (Ded fkn Srs)

Are you paying for this privately through some service? A family doc prob won’t order a hormone panel for you without a strong reason. I tried once and the answer I got was “taxpayers aren’t paying for blood tests just because you’re curious”

Yeah, in Canada it's so difficult to get these tests because as you said a family doc will need a reason. I think even with these private tests, you need a referral, but they do that for you. I was looking at around $150-$300 depending on what the test is.

I get bloodwork about every 9 months but have to pay out of pocket because I go through my TRT clinic for services. What are you currently taking, and what are your goals? I can let you know what I have checked, just wanting to get an idea of what you’re trying to accomplish first.

Honestly, not really sure. just curious to see my test levels and know if major general health markers are in check.

Check basic bloodwork like RBC, WBC, hematocrit, hemoglobin, etc.

Complete metabolic panel to check glucose, potassium, creatinine, etc.

Probably a lipid panel, but don’t let them automatically put you on medication just because some levels are high.

Total test, free test, estradiol, DHEA, FSH, LH, SHBG, IGF-1, and vitamin D.

That should give you a good baseline to track over time.

Test, HDl, LDl I think.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."
