It’s like 115 in phoenix. You’re supposed to be out there doing construction and **** for 8 hours? There’s only so much your water bottle and some shade can do for you lol

When I used to be a tradie, in the summers I ate so much salty food and carbs. If you're not eating, you'll fall out. Burgers and other high calorie food is required to sustain such a lifestyle. It's also not for the weak minded. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

One of my dog brahs is a commercial roofer. He works 6AM-3PM even when it's 119°, takes a nap, and is back out in the heat with his dog by sundown. He's built different.

He looks at least 10 years older than his real age, though. Very leathery.

Remember last year when some UPS driver acted like a victim on ring camera and they made the video go viral and so many miscers were virtue signaling about UPS drivers driving in the heat.

Why aren't they yelling about that now? Isn't it WAY hotter than last year?

I had an Amazon driver ask for a drink after dropping off a package not that long ago, the gall of the dude


On our sites, we keep water + ice + freezies by the work front and can keep trucks nearby with the AC cranked to cool down. We do similar stuff in the winter when it’s -40, keep a truck nearby for warming up.

At least they get some airflow through the open doors. Inside the center it's absolutely sweltering and you're speed walking the entire shift. Even starting at 3AM I could feel the heat hit me when I walked in the door and 5 hours later my tshirt and shorts would be completely saturated with more sweat dripping off of them because they were completely full.
