Here's why "Tinder doesn't work anymore"

80% of users are male lmao. If you missed the golden era in 2014-2015 when women were downloading Tinder en masse before the normie men had even heard of it you're SOOL.

Concerning the gender ratio:

Tinder has the worst with 21.9% women and 78.1% men. While Badoo has 35% women and 65% men. Bumble seems to have the most balanced ratio out of the three at around 43% women and 57% men.

Look up a concept called “network economics”

The guy that came up with it based it on matchmaking services

In summary, it’s not just tinder, it’s always been like that since matchmaking services existed

Bumble has been better than Tinder for a long time. Hinge is probably better too

Bumble and Hinge have the premise that they aren’t hookup apps and girls there are a bit less likely to just agree to come over to fuk off the app. But the end result is the same, just tell them to go out for a drink with you

almost all of those dating apps are owned by the same parent company. They pay people to create fake accounts and stir up activity among male users. I read a guy said he worked for one where he would make a fake woman's profile, match with a guy whose Tinder Platinum account was about to expire, then lead him on until he renewed his platinum account then they would ghost him and delete the fake profile.

Plenty of stories of the top male profiles getting put to the forefront of women's daily feeds so the women stick around, and the bottom 80-90 percent of men are basically shadowbanned and their profiles never pop up. You need to pay for the extra premium account just so your profile can actually get seen by the women and male employees pretending to be women.

bottom line gtf off that **** asap

Even 2 - 3 years ago I was getting three times the likes I’m getting now. All dating apps have gone down hill.

Tinder is terrible in most of the USA it seems.

Changed my tinder location to some latin American countries and all of a sudden the uglies, fatties, and single moms went away and more attractive, feminine and normal females popped up.

Read a brief summary, think I got it. “Demand creates demand” so the idea being that because there are women on there at all it will automatically attract way more men?

Those gender ratios exist because women do not need to spend a lot of time on there. A week on the app and a woman will already have hundreds if not thousands of likes, and a few good prospects for a boyfriend. A guy will need to spend a year on the app for some success, if ever.

Women absolutely use dating apps though. It would be stupid not to when you get so many options.

A lot of the women surveyed have said they use Tinder purely to bull**** around and have no intention of meeting anyone.

Yes but that is easily explained by something called “base probability”

Idk how people survive in society without a basic grasp of statistics

Basically the value of any network (word processing application, social media, etc) depends on how many users there are.

The early matchmaking services gave free membership to women for this reason. They made money from men.

lol at considering a low class woman that would actually go on a dating site in 2023 for anything more than a hookup...even that's sketchy considering how ran through they are.

Yup.

Back around 2008-2010 CougarLife made guys pay but the women could join for free.

That made me lol because the young guys are usually broke in comparison to the older women.

I’ve only dated 2 male models. One in 2012 and one in 2021-22. One was from CougarLife although he was on my MySpace friends list so we already knew each other and the other guy was from Bumble.

The 2012 guy was also on that Playboy reality show Foursome or something like that.

My ignore script doesn’t work on mobile.
