anyone noticed how fitness culture is dead?

like srs

the misc = no actual lifting talk going on just a bunch of incels

reddit = new post about lifting posted once a week maybe on r/lifting

4chan /fit = bunch of fukin neckbeard posting muscle girls

youtube = fitness drama diva's moaning about fake natties or "hey do this super specifc exercise to gain muscle" or "subscribe to my meal plan"

Who cares about posting PRs? Powerlifting is stupid because nobody cares what your total is if you look like a bald, bearded blob like the majority of powerlifters. It's always been about aesthetics and leanness. The gym I go to is more crowded than ever. I thought the new year's crowd would've filtered out, but it's been noticeably more crowded this year.

i have a home gym so i don't notice if the gyms are crowded with tiktokers and zoomer kids.

but i do miss the days of jason blaha being a lol cow, the hodge twins posting workout videos. the days of bro's posting form checks on here and getting ripped to shreds.

you're right it is all comercial now and not for the gains anymore
