Never understand how it is that people live in arizona and then are somehow surprised by the heat in summer time.

no kidding about that last part. Always read a few reports every year of some hikers going on a trail in AZ in the mid-day heat and never returning.

Not true at all, even the worst of the heat is tolerable, the cold is not. The cold is way more dangerous too, you die very quickly in sub-zero temps if you're not careful.

From what I understand it's more of a dry heat. Also, it's the ****ing desert, it gets hot in the desert.

I'm from northern Illinois, but I lived in a high elevation town in Wyoming for over 3 years where it got down to -50 one winter, and that's with no windchill factored in. You can die very quickly in those sort of temperatures. That's extreme, but even standard cold sucks. I've lived all over too, Arizona, Florida, and now South Texas. Even the humid heat is million times more comfortable than a regular winter. The cold sucks.

It's summer here now and it's over 100 every day and I'm outside all the time. In the cold I'd avoid going outside. It'd mostly just be walking from the car to a building and back.

That swampy, humid heat is the worst.

There will be days when it's gray, overcast in Illinois, and it'll be 85°, with like 75° humidity........

I used to love those days when I was up there, that season is so short. It's gray, cold, and miserable for like 8 months out the year in Illinois, at least the northern part of the state.

Dying in the cold is peaceful. You just fall asleep and don't wake up.

In hot 110 degree weather, you die just as fast and it's excruciating.
If heat exhaustion isn't spotted and treated early on, there's a risk it could lead to heatstroke. Heat exhaustion or heatstroke can develop quickly over a few minutes, or gradually over several hours or days. Symptoms of heat exhaustion can include: tiredness and weakness.

You just have to hydrate in the heat and stay out of the direct sun at noon. If you stop moving in the cold you freeze and die. Nothing peaceful about shivering and freezing to death.

LOL at just hydrate and stay of sun at noon. More like from 10a.m to 6p.m. you can't even stick your arm outside. You have to stay inside like little incels. Meanwhile WinterMOGGERS are having the time of their life in zero temps.

Nope, hypothermia is always said to be the most peaceful way to go. Peaceful and painless. Summercels die slow painful deaths. Nausea, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, and delusion.

People think that dying from heat is the same as dying from the cold???

Why do you think that crime increases big time during the summer, especially when it's hot out.
