Just Took The Biggest Red Pill Of My Life (Srs)
So I wanted to know how many people in UK have a milli
Checked stats and there are 2.85 million people that are milli-aires (tf!?)
And this is from a population of less than 68 million.
So over 4% of the UK population are millionaires and this is in a country with significantly lower salaries than the US
Cliffs: didnt realize I was such a brokie

number of millionaires probably peaks somewhere in the 60-70 age range right before retirement.
then you also have to consider the amount that became millionaires from being willed money after family dying. becoming a millionaire when you get willed $300-400k is much easier.
the milly rate for people under 60-70 that didn't inherit the money is probably well under 4%...maybe 1-2%

Boomer buys a house for 100k in 1995.
Boomer's house is worth 1.5 million in 2023.
You'd probably only find about 1% of the population has a million+ in liquid assets.

A very large portion of those would be people who's parents owned a home in London.
1/4 Jamaican
1/4 Polish
1/4 Irish
1/4 Welsh

its where a lot of people are foreigners who stole their money from the govt (africans) or muslims who have oil money, etc. parking themselves in London and many of them don't live there full time or at all (similar to NYC). Im sure once you get outside london, the rich drop off considerably.
