The communists running sh!t won't care if they lose or gain money, because it's a win-win scenario. If they succeed, their propaganda reaches more eyes. If they fail, they've successfully hurt capitalism by tarnishing a piece of culture.

If you were a communist, you would BRAG about tanking Star Wars. That's a slap in the face to capitalism. Star Wars, a money printing machine, losing money? It's like a killing a capitalist white whale.
