We got more than 25 inches of rain in the span of less than a day back in April. Disabled cars everywhere and tons of flooded homes. They said it was a 1 in 1,000 year event but who knows... I'm going to buy a Prius now so that it doesn't happen again.

We're in a drought situation in SW Florida along the coast. Typically this time of year the rains pass along the shore in the evenings. This year has been different with the rains going inland.
