Sound of Freedom about to go to over 20 other countries

$149 million box office in just the US, still doing $3-4 million every day now, while Indiana Jones is barely doing $1 million on weekend days now. In a few weeks it's going to hit theaters in over 20 countries, mostly Latin America but also UK, Australia, others. Make a film about an ignored but important topic, people will come out.

Imagine making a movie that only costs 14 million, with little to no marketing, and it'll perhaps make 400-500 million dollars when it's all over.

Little to no marketing? They've been marketing since before it came out like crazy: Caviezel has been doing press rounds like there's no tomorrow literally selling it as "Uncle Tom's Cabin of the 21st century". They have a social media team pinning #soundoffreedom to every news article about paedos getting busted to try and get people to think that somehow the movie had something to do with it (must be all that awareness). They setup a website where you can donate directly to the filmmakers and show a QR code linking to it at the end of the movie. This is all ingenious marketing, but make no mistake, it's not happening for free.

What I find puzzling is that you guys don't see right through it. This isn't the first time that film producers latch on to an important issue to get butts in seats convincing people that they're somehow contributing to fight the issue by watching the film. It's ALL just marketing to milk this as much as possible.

That's your idea of marketing??? I didn't see a single trailer for the movie, on any commercials or at the theater, it was all word of mouth, and through social media, and that's it.

In fact, you leftists losing your mind??? That's the perfect kind of marketing, because people are seeing your meltdowns, and going, "Hmmmmmmmm.......if they don't like it, it MUST be good."
