Try to focus. The Bidens set up shell companies, which had no business for the specific purpose of money laundering and racketeering. That's the issue. Just as the mafia and drug dealers do, though at least the latter launder their money through actual businesses instead of empty shells.

If Potato Joe decides to withdraw from running I doubt it will be because he's self aware of his dementia. Rather it would be an inside deal made to not prosecute him. Dude's gonna be dead before the end of the decade anyway and he'd spend any prison sentence in a dementia nursing ward.
