He wasn't indicted for what he said. In fact, the indictment clearly defends his freedom of speech. He was indicted for the fake electors, among other things. The man lost. The man knew he lost. Yet, he proceeded with various schemes to try to bypass the legitimate processes in place for a peaceful transfer of power. And when I call him a man, I'm being very generous with that term. Crybaby seems more fitting.

It's going to be hard to pin anything on him related to the speech he gave. The charges are more about the plot to overturn the certified election through the use of fraudulent electors.
