You forgot to add the part where Gannondorf sticks the triforce in Zelda's elf poosay releasing the spirits of the ancients from within her monstrous cavern of horrors.

Agreed with something along the lines of Sword Art Online.

But that's too easy - when something like that comes out it's game over for humanity. I'll just go off personal idea.

Obviously it goes without saying it needs cutting edge graphics, latest engine, Hans Zimmer score, GRR Martin writing the story, celebrity English voice acting, lots of kickass servers, top-notch developers, customer support, compatibility with latest gaming consoles and PC (bonus money if can have watered down versions for mobile and last-gen), sufficient cadence for new content to keep people addicted and buying DLC/battlepass.

So all that aside, the game's a MMO set in medieval fantasy. Rated M with adult themes (but not as bad as The Witcher or GTA so it's still accessible to teens). Create your own character with multiple races/species, choose a starter class that has some skills/abilities but you can allocate stats/skills as you see fit as you level up kinda like The Elder Scrolls / Fallout, but specializing gets more powerful abilities. Not as crazy of a skill tree as POE, but pretend if all WoW classes' skill trees were accessible in one single skill tree from everyone to progress within, in a fashion like POE. People can reset, but costs $$$, or otherwise LOTS of earned ingame currency.

Game has 5 factions, takes place on a giant vast world inspired by LOTR. With dynamic dungeons (5-man content), dynamic raids (10/25/40 man content depending which one), horde mode style group content with better rewards the longer you last (no limits). Harder content gives better loot and cosmetics/titles.

Gear is like an ARPG, random rolls with level-dependent ranges and affixes. Normal < Rare < Epic < Legendary < Unique < Uber Unique, or name them other things I don't care. Think closer to Borderlands style loot system though, less like POE/Diablo.

Game has Open World PvP with meaningful rewards (killing impacts K/D ratio in PvP leaderboard, claim buffs the killed player has earned from in-game activities, get temporary discounts from faction store on some crafting materials or something) and penalties (death means respawn timer, durability damage on gear, impacts K/D ratio in PvP leaderboard, fairly distant respawn in "somewhat safe zone"). PvP leaderboards and rewards are seasonal (2-3 month cadence), but there's simultaneously all-time PvP leaderboards and rewards.

Game has a solid meaningful crafting system, economy, auction house to support it all (with taxes for money sink), and other money sinks (durability repair, minor gear upgrades, faster mounts, lose fixed amounts of gold on death based on gear level).

Game costs $70, has editions for $80-100 which give meaningful and exclusive perks like cosmetics, titles, furniture, access to a year's worth of battlepass, early access. $5 subscription fee, keep it cheaper than WoW and even Runescape. DLC is always $60. Battlepass is associated with "premium subscription" at $11 or something. DLC's increase player level limit by like +5 or +10, give new affixes and gear types, new starter class option and correlated skill trees, increased skill slots, new zones/quests/PvE stuff.

Microtransactions exist with SOME benefit, but they're so minor they're not criticized by gamers. Not Pay-to-win, but like +2% exp/month, shorter death respawn, cosmetics, +2%/month better loot rolls and +2%/month drop chances on better stuff, SLIGHTLY increased inventory space.

NOT isometric. Game has both first person and slightly zoomed out 3rd person perspectives.

Possible ideas but would need to think more as these have been associated with many failed MMOs already: Game could have a faction-oriented crime system that feels like a TES/Fallout game. Game world could be dynamic with sieges and building.
