I think he had organ failure or something from alcohol abuse.

It was suicide pretty sure. But people didn't say out of respect for family. He had organ damage, but was goin thru severe depression, at least that is the rumor. Dude was always battling depression. He was the GOAT IMO. Even if it wasn't suicide, poor guy drank himself to death.

Yea that was the rumor. He went through a lot. You can see it in his music too. Guy struggled his whole life. For some reason, so many great musicians do.
