Update: no alcohol 4 days now

Been a lot more focused

Haven’t talked to ex

Lost 6lbs

No cravings to cheat on diet


Having a hard time sleeping at night though


Avoided degen friends


Going to keep this up and not drink on my bday because I’m strong willed srs

Wondering when financial Mogger gains start coming in

This. Alcohol acts as a suppressant on your nervous system. If you drink high amounts for an extended amount of time, your body builds a tolerance to it, however your nervous system is used to that depressed state. When you stop drinking, your system can become too excited and it can lead to those with drawl symptoms

Probably why you can’t sleep, it’s going from a depressed state to an excited one. If you get anymore symptoms be careful and come off it slowly to avoid severe reactions like seizures

Anyhow, good job on making a change that you think will better you.
