Yeah, it's fuking miserable there during the Summer. I've been to some of the hottest places in the world, and Myrtle Beach/Charleston are some of the most miserable places in the world during Summer for whatever reason.

Coastal areas aren’t as bad due to constant breeze, and the upstate is always a little cooler than the rest of the state. Midlands and PeeDee regions are brutal though. Generally hotter and more humid than the rest of the state.


But yeah, you should be fine at the beach….assuming of course that you’re not a pussy.

Yep just came back from visiting my grandma in myrtle beach. It’s too humid to even be outside unless at the pool or beach. Even first thing in the morning or late at night it’s still awful. Real feel hit 110 every day we were there..brutal

I mean, it's definitely true that your body acclimates to weather. I've stopped using Air Conditioning this Summer, and my body has actually learned to tolerate 90 degree weather. I'm even at the point where I can wear a full dress shirt and long pants during 90 degree weather and not be a sweaty mess.

It gets pretty nasty for like 3 months but the rest of the year is absolutely beautiful. Lived in Charleston for a year last year, now live in southeast texas, and southeast texas is far worse

I was in Myrtle Beach last July. On the beach, it was actually very comfortable. You go one block inland and your ballz gonna be soaked boyo. NO HOMO!!
