Does anyone pull at bars in the year of our lord 2023?

Honest to God, I feel like picking up girls at the bar is a boomer meme, just like the "firm handshake" chit.

It worked before you had cellphones and apps, and that was the only way for sloots to go out and meet randos. But when I go out divebarmaxxing (went out last night for Nate Diaz vs Logan Paul, stuck around for a while after the fight to sober up), everyone's already there with their friends. No one's there to meet people, and there aren't single sloots. Out of 100-ish people in the dive bar last night, I only noticed one table of 40yo cankle tastic bloatlords.

I've said it before in another thread, but bars in 2023 are almost like a really loud Olive Garden. People are there at a table with their party, and they don't want to be bothered for chit.

I have a similar sentiment. “Back in the day” I used to pull effortlessly, frequently, and easily - if you really take a close look girls in general just aren’t really hooking up anymore so don’t blame yourself. I’m pretty sure most girls are gonna be approaching 30 not having a single bf in their lives lol.

I saw some Asian guy try that at a college bar back when I was in college. He got rejected by all of them. One white girl was nice and kissed him on the cheek. One hispanic girl was really rude and got mad at him for asking.

Yes, this is the girls I've pulled so far this year. Mainly at bars and music gigs (recommended because you have something with common if the girl is there to see the same artist as you). I've just crossed out the locations and some of their names which are unique (don't want misc detectives trying to find them)

dives are dialed, but certainly not that scenario srs

be scientific about it

hit 1-2 different bars on fri & sat nights

stay in the one place for the whole night

eventually you'll find one that's a good fit

fridays ime are way better than saturdays

Stuck around to "sober up' first mistake.

9 out of 10 times I pulled from bar scene it was cause I stayed super late and got blacked out to loss of all inhibitions.


Also don't go sit at a table. Sit at bar , or darts, or pool table. Challenge girls to a game. Get drunk, be super forward. Like I would say some chit that could borderline get you arrested. Like "don't turn this rape into a murder" type ****.

It's definitely way worse because people have become way less sociable. I just don't go to bars anymore though so not even sure how I'd do if I tried these days. Although tbh...idk if I'd even want to pick up bar sloots anyways.

My best strategy at this point is every time I'm at a get together or something, everyone including the parents at the parties try to set me up with someone when they find out I'm single haha. I'm actually surprised how many chicks are in my situation too now.

If this was 10 years ago, I’d say you’re probably going to the wrong bar. If I looked around and saw it was like that, I’d go somewhere else fast. And don’t undervalue stuff like having a friend or two with you and knowing some staff at the bar. Women notice social dudes over dudes sitting by themselves staring at them.

It’s been a while though, and I don’t know what late night bar stuff is like these days.

You can still pull at bars, but for it to happen at Dive Bars you gotta be at a pretty trashy spot.

I was a regular at a dive bar for like 2 years(3-4x per week), and only fuked one chick from there over that time.
