Dorian Yates ifbb pro has a program with 1 warm up set and 1 heavy max out set.
so for legs you do a hack squat
then leg press
then leg extension
then hamstrings
8 total
then you leave and recover.
it is fast and the only delay is waiting for a machine to be freed up.

A full body 3x/week routine should be fine and not take over an hour.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

2.) 3x week 35minute workout (mon, wed, fri) during lunch hour including changing clothes. Compound exercises + accessory. 2min rest, 3 sets, 8-12reps
3.) - Mon: Flat Bench - Arms (DB curls & tricep cable push downs)
- Weds: Deadlift - Arms (same as above)
- Fri: Squats & OHP - Bent over rows & side Laterals
4.) 2min rest, 3 sets, 8-12reps
It all sounds kind of retarded, but I made serious gains.
Always did 3 quick warm up sets on compound exercises. Never left any in the tank during compound exercises on all sets, reps (8-12) until true failure.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

It's been taking forever, 10 minutes rest between sets, 9 sets per workout, then add in warmup sets, do the math. It's been going great though, I never should've strayed away from Rippetoe programming in the first place. I need a fixed program to keep me on track. Even though I'm a hard worker by nature, when I train by how I feel as I did in the past, I always undertrain.
