I'm a young 22 year old. Everything's overpriced now. Are young kids like me screwed?

Every entry level job I'm seeing on LinkedIn is requiring 5+ years of experience.

Everybody wants experience, nobody wants to give it.

I'm currently in an IT sales company and I make 50K a year. I got the job fresh out of college and I'm currently in month 8. But I'm looking to jump ship because I just don't get paid enough.

How the f*ck am I supposed to leverage my current job into a higher paying job when all good jobs require 5+years of experience. Does anyone have any life hacks for a 22 year old? I don't know what to do.

And I need a higher paying job to move out of my parents house. Everythings overpriced now because of inflation. I wanna have enough money for rent, savings, and take a few vacations every year. But currently I wouldn't even be able to afford rent in the NYC area

don't leave @ 8 months you will ruin that job for your resume. re-evaluate in 6 months.

Someone who was 22 when you were born would have seen prices increase at twice the rate you've seen over the same length of time (from 1979 to 2001)
