Fukk burger king, srs

Most maccy joints actually taste better and it costs 40% less than what you'd pay at bk

BK is like biting into some tough decaying boot or something.. unless you happen to stumble upon one of their good franchises (which are far and few)

Wood rather pay a bit more for a decent burger at five guys or slightly less and get a solid fast food hamburger at maccys

Gonna get some BK tonight.. Pro tip: add some Sriracha sauce on the whopper to make it even tastier.


The only way BK can survive is to lower their prices. They just don't have the market share to charge in the same price range as McDs or Carls.

BK, when made well by a halfway decent crew, is pretty good. Among the better fast food chains, tbh.

The problem is, it's only made exceptionally well about 10% of the time, decently 20% of the time, and terribly 70% of the time. It's not worth their prices for such wild inconsistency, and they've been that way since at least the mid-90's.

they're marginally better than maccies depending on the joint.. but i cant justify their prices for what is essentially a cheap fast food burger

Service sucks all around in this day and age. If you want good service only go to thise crappy fast food places if the people working the kitchen are middle aged Mexicans. They actually try and the burgers look like they do in the commercials (at least that's my experience in SoCal). However, f it's just some HS kids at 5pm on a weekday who just got out of class a couple hours ago, be prepared to be served slop thrown together in a wrapper.

Like seriously? $8 for a whopper? might as well just pay the extra dollar and get a double whopper.

Sorry, a whopper is good, but it ain't good enough to warrant $8. I'd eat here more often if they actually charged reasonable prices.

They are trying to compete with other places that do burgers better (Shake Shack, Five Guys, etc) instead of staying in their lane against the McDouble. I like the BK near me, but there's tons of other options, including local places (White Manna) that mog it easily and cost about the same.

I checked the prices for my local joints.

BK whopper: $5.29 670 cal
BK 8 pc nuggies: $2.49 390 cal

McD Big Mac: $4.99 590 cal
McD Double Cheese: $3.39 450 cal
McD 10 pc nuggies: $4.89 410 cal

TBH Burger King is better pricing on the nuggies, but worse pricing on the burgers.
