It was pretty good Ngl was lolsy as fuk.

The threads were all about the lols not many about race or politics like nowadays. Most threads were about other miscers that had done something stupid or people were trying to get them to do something stupid.

The mods were funny as fuk srs, was like a big game of cat and mouse, mod negs flying everywhere. Can’t remember their name but one of the mods put up a thread about a football game and if if you guessed who won wrong then you got banned. 30+ people got banned that day lmao.

As the member who's seemingly been here the longest (February 2002), I think the Misc was already long dead by that time.

This has been debated quite a bit, but I still think the golden age of the Misc was pre-4Chan invasion/pre-Zyzz. So maybe 2006-2008 ish.

Lots of funny people here who lifted weights back then, and the forum moved so fast that a post would be off the front page in literally thirty seconds if no one responded srs. The 4Chan invasion signaled the beginning of the incel nerds that dominate the forum today.

Misc went of a cliff around late 2013. By 2020 it was already a very gay Indian on life support in a Rajasthani hospital.

In the golden era we had most miscers openly lusting over a slutty sexy fourteen year old Angie Verona nowadays if a miscer lusts for a slutty sexy fourteen year old he would be ostracized and attacked by most miscers. Huge difference in masculinity and associated mentality, as it has obviously dropped the more the misc has become a gay Indian.

We didn't have, in the pre 2013 days, anywhere near the amount of pathetic loser posters and outright frauds either. It was fun to check out the misc not a sad addiction.

It started withering away shortly after I joined. A decade ago, most people were in their early 20s and hopeful. Now, it's filled with the same people, albeit now 30 somethings, who've all failed at life in many regards so they spend their days spewing their misery here and creating a large echo chamber of despair and hopelessness. Anyways, that's my analysis of the decline we've seen over the years. It's pretty sad, honestly. People just give up.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

Less political and less troll alts. Wincel still had his main so he wasn’t out here making new accounts every day to spam gay pr0n or whatever the fuk he does now. There were still some lulzy threads and threads where we’d help brahs spit game at sloots. WAY more OG posters posting quality content.

The only good that came out of the pandemic was the formation of a stronger brotherhood here. You were liable to get negged and people would talk chit with personal attacks more often back in the days. Now we’re like the last of a dying breed so the community has really come together. There’s a greater bond today IMO.

It was good until around 2015-2016 and went downhill from there. Pre-2013 Misc was the best.
