I think most of us were more worldly back then-television was a lot more intelligent for one thing. People today I guess due to the way things have gone with social media, global corporations blasting them all day with messaging, dumbed down content etc have zero attention spans & all seem gullible & naive.

Back then if a guy was wearing women's clothes he wouldn't get in any toilet-he would usually get a good kicking. All these kids doing these stupid challenges like holding your breath until you pass out, putting ligatures round your neck until you pass out etc we would have said to anybody challenging us to do that to get lost.

Meeting random people online like kids are doing this century didn't really happen-because by the age of 4 or 5 you knew not to talk to strangers because of tv adverts, they also ran them about keeping away from railway tracks, electricity dangers, fireworks dangers, drowning dangers etc in graphic ads that ran before & during cartoons. Sadly parents started complaining their kids were being traumatised by such ads in the late 1990's-so they stopped making them.
