Fuark yeah feeling like a new gaymer

My bday coming up so decided to treat myself a bit...

New elite series 2 controller

New g pro x superlight mouse

Superglide glass mouse skates

I'm still waiting for my ARTISAN FX HAYATEOTSU wine red mousepad, might be another week for that. Going to give a legit gaming mousepad a try this time instead of a cheap Amazon pad.

Glass mouse skates are crazy, I dun goofd on this one I think... It feels like my mouse is on an air hockey table... Just the pressure of me clicking is enough to offset my aim. I thrashed the stock skates removing them also so now I gotta order new ones again lolol. It's just too slippery.

Controller is nice. Haven't had paddles in a while. played like 3 hours of console apex legends last night so I can relearn controller at my actual skill level: dogchit. I'm so out of practice playing shooters on a controller it's actually sad. I am determined to get better on controller so I can enjoy and use my consoles more. I think alot of the reason I don't play them much is because I'm really just bad on a controller.

Been using the same mouse and controller for so long feels good to get some new chit.

Awww fuk I even got an email confirmation after I made this thread that my atlas headrest shipped out. ****in pre ordered this chit like 8 months ago, this company makes a matching headrest for Herman Miller chairs. Can't wait to sit back and shove my new mouse up my ass whilst my head is properly supported. It's all coming together

Controller doesn't look nearly as bad as it did in the design lab pics you posted. Congratulations. Jelly Boxcels have design lab, I'd throw money away to customize some DualSense Edges.

I've been on YouTube for weeks watching mouse reviews targeted for fps players and that one simply doesn't come up in conversation at all. The razer viper does though.

I stuck with the g pro because it was familiar mostly. I may still order another ouse to try. Amazon ended up refunding me fully for this mouse because it got delayed in shipping dead srs so it was completely free.

If there was a similar design lab for the PS5s version of the elite controller I'd get one of those too.

You'll be happy to know that the elite controller comes with an internal rechargeable battery and charging dock, I will miss my aa batteries though

The design lab is cool, but the design lab for the elite series has way less color options than the design lab for regular controllers.

Deathadders with mech switches have better clicks. Srs.

Enjoy the superglides. I just got some for my v2x deathaddy a week or two ago. They do make actually using the PC for other than gaming harder.

Idk I really did want to try something else but I had the original gpro for years and I'm just super used to it I guess. There wasn't anything else that really spoke to me, seems like it's all just diminishing returns and personal preference once you get to the upper price range

fair. a lot of pro CS players use that because they're sponsored by logitech, which causes a lot of people buy it without it really fitting their hand. but if you've used it for years and like the shape then yeah good setup.

Gotcha. Well if it's free and it's a design you're comfortable with then changing up might throw you off balance that's true. Partly why I never changed my poverty keyboard. I was just too accustomed to the one I have. I still use this beat up old keyboard with my new desktop and it looks odd being there.

Clicks feel satisfying enough for me @ optical because when I'm playing a game like DOTA or Broodwar there's considerably more clicking then an FPS. Basically you're constantly clicking for 40 mins straight per match so you want it to feel effortless, and also you wanna know it can stand up to the abuse without failing.
