Any experiences with Carnivore Diet?
Think about giving it a serious try for a month and seeing how i feel. Apparently almost anybody that tries it ends up stickin to it and swearing by it. Im a carb lover but im willing to make the experiment to see for myself whats up

There is a very good chance you’ll have constipation with diarrhea lol, it’s better to switch Gradually, you can do low carb keto for a few days and then try to do steak but still have your green salad, etc..
Keep in mind that even Shawn Baker still takes electrolytes,
Don’t be surprised if you lose some explosiveness and mid rep rang Strength, you will either have to wait up to a year and a half for athletic performance to come back, or you should simply include at least some fruit for quick energy and glycogen replenishment, which is a pretty popular form of carnivore or keto among the few athletes who use it.
For me personally, I love low carb for stable energy, great skin, and easy hunger control, but there is no denying that you’re going to be flat and lacking strength,
Carnivore specifically for me is a little bit boring, so to solve all these issues When I do low-carb, I do it Lyle McDonald’s style, with re-feeds on the weekend, or you could do a couple of high carb days per week, in no specific order, what I find is that you’re actually not going to get sleepy or hungry, because all that carb goes to replenish muscle glycogen first, so you have a good day or even two days where you can eat high carb and feel great, and have full muscles before you start getting lethargic and fat again lol so you should go back to low-carb before that happens.

The two key characteristics of Joe Rogan’s eating habits include:
A ketogenic diet (largely carnivorous)
Intermittent fasting
Translation: a whole lot of lean meats at specific times of the day. It’s no secret the man is a fan of hunting down his own grub, being a major advocate of killing wild game. As for the intermittent fasting side of things, Rogan personally opts for a 16-hour fast that begins in the evening and extends all the way into the late morning – meaning he skips breakfast. It’s also not unnatural to find him exercising on an empty stomach before his first meal of the day. Gotta widen that calorie deficit.
You know the saying, eat clean and train dirty. But more on the latter in just a moment. We’re talking about quite a disciplined approach. Cutting out as much processed foods, unnecessary carbs, and unnecessary sugars as possible. Or as Rogan states himself, “… no bread, very few carbs, no sugar, no bull****…”. Hear that? No bull****.
“Healthy food, a lot of vegetables and a lot of game meat, mostly wild game.”
Elk Meat – AKA the go-to protein in the Rogan household. While it’s not uncommon to catch him dining out on a regular old steak with Joey Diaz, there’s a reason he prefers wild game. As explained on multiple occasions, wild game is free of all those nasty growth hormones and steroids, therefore being low on saturated fat (as well as other nasty byproducts). The benefits are virtually endless, chiefly among them in addition to the obvious “clean” protein is the fact you won’t feel sluggish, bogged down, or lethargic after consuming a bit of wild elk. As opposed you, oh I don’t know, roast pork belly?
Eggs – Breakfast First daily meal of champs (intermittent fasting).
Brown Rice – Self-explanatory.
Quinoa – Self-explanatory.
Sourdough Bread – With some grass-fed butter and honey, because the man is only human, after all.
Vegetables – While Rogan partakes in a predominantly carnivorous diet, he also eats his greens like a good boy. Kale, spinach, avocado string beans, broccoli, spiced up with a bit of jalapeno – as well as other coloured vegetables.
Kimchi – Apparently pickled cabbage is good for fighting inflammation.

i eat steak every night but also vegetables.
eat whole foods. steak, sweet potato, broccoli, etc.
try this first -
* Avoid - Refined/Processed Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Flour/Grains, Refined/Processed Foods/Carbs, Deep Fried Foods, Bread, Pasta, Dairy, Soy, Oils, Fruit Juices, Alcohol, And Drugs!
* Eat - High Quality Fresh Animal Protein - Beef, Poultry, Fish - and Vegetables - Simple/Whole/Natural Foods as Found in Nature. If God Didn’t Make It, Don’t Eat It! Fresh Meat and Vegetables! Meals Should Have Three Components - 1. Animal Protein (Beef, Chicken, Pork, Fish, Seafood), 2. Starchy/Carb Vegetable (White Potato, Sweet Potato, Squash), 3. Green Leafy or Cruciferous Vegetable (Broccoli, Spinach, Kale, Asparagus).

Sounds simple enough, ive done low carb diets before, long fasts as well, doesnt seem that tough. I do love like any human some good flavors so ill see if i like it enough and decide to stick by it, if i can introduce things like natural honey, fruits, avocado, nuts etc to spice it up.
Im addicted to sugar processed **** so that may be tough, but since everyone that tries it swears by it... its worth a try IMO. Everyone that does it basically said they felt energetic for the first time in their lives, or felt like they would wake up in a minute as opposed to feeling sluggish for like an hour (which its currently me) so thats the one that interested me the most.

In reality, you just need clean foods - veggies and unprocessed meats, with some starches like potatoes and a a little rice. Avoid processed foods, sugar and white floor and incorporate a natural 18hr intermittent daily fast. But hey, give a shot for 30 days and report back.
I think if anything is poisoning our bodies its the highly processed **** or what we grow in farms/the earth since its super altered chemically.
Ill see for myself whats up and ill report that. Ill start in september tho i dont want to be ****ting myself next week in a trip i have already planned

I did it very strictly for a little over three weeks. I got noticeably leaner. Lost 16 lbs. After a few days of eating carbs, I went back up four lbs from glycogen and water (probably) and stabilized there.
I love the simplicity of it, and actually have found it cheaper than eating the way I was before. The sugar and carb cravings the first few days were intense. I bought LMNT electrolyte (too lazy to make my own) powder which really kept the cravings at bay.
I also ended up just doing OMAD, not because I wanted to, but because I really wasn’t hungry until dinner.
My lifts suffered a little, but came right back once I introduced occasional raw honey and organic fruit. Oddly enough my libido went down during those three weeks until I reintroduced fruit and raw honey.

honestly prefer paleo over carnivore. carnivore sucks for the gym tbh.
i did paleo/animal based with OMAD and felt amazing on it. it 100% helped me destroy inflammation in my body, especially for my low back.

Perfect physiques are everywhere on social media. Gym rats look at themselves and see that they're nowhere near that so they keep experimenting trying to get there. That's a positive aspiration to have.
The final solution or final realization though is that there isn't that much to optimize, getting the basics right gets you 90% to your peak potential. Optimizing that last 10% isn't going to get you there, creatine will get you there so stop overthinking it and either accept your current results or hop on a bike.

Personally im trying to see if the way i feel its just normal, or if theres an actual normal that is much better than what ive experienced and its due to my diet. At least thats the most common denominator between poeple that try this diet from what ive seen so far. "I thought i was healthy until i did this"
Ill see after a month or two of being on it if thats legit or just bull****. Im low key scared of it being legit and feeling amazing because the thought of leaving things like pizza, cake, cookies etc behind seems a bit ****ty not gonna lie.

In for answers. I've been thinking about doing a month long experiment as well.
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.
The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."
The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

Keeps you full for a longer period of time on less calories.
Example: Easiest way to see if this diet will work for you is to go to McDonalds. Order 4 McDoubles and eat only the beef patties. 1 McDoubles patty is 240 calories. So 4 patties is 960 calories total.
If you feel full for the entire day on just 4 McDouble patties then the carnivore diet will work for you. You'll get shredded in no time because essentially you'd only be eating around 1,000 calories per day.
But the downside is that excessive meat consumption causes really bad breath.
