Question about money/economy

If I take 1 trillion dollars from the money supply, and stick it somewhere inactive (e.g. a vault), what is the net effect on the economy and on the other participants in the economy (people)?

More to come...

You are better off paying **** with Monopoly money now because that is where the dollar is headed.

I am on eBay right now trying to buy up on the Monopoly cash. When push comes to shove and the dollar is useless, I will be richer than the Rothchilds, Rockefeller's and the whole entire generation of Jews combine.

Once I become rich, I will make the jews pay big time. Will have them shine my shoes for the rest of their life and then I will lock them up in a room full of pork....it is unkosher to. See how those fukers like it.

It's no different than having the ability to print it.

Devaluation occurs when it is introduced. More dollars = more dollars for goods = goods for more dollars. It's an eventual caboose jerking when a train starts, end of train gets whiplash. But the speed stays the same until you can slow it down (by throwing money overboard and making the train conserve fuel for the ride).

It's a purposeful usurping of capitalism. But it also made us the world's reserve currency because we have so much. We essentially set a trap by making bigger buckets once they get close to full. It only works if our footprint in the world's market maintains or grows.

I think you get it, but isn't this the opposite or printing? I'm un-printing it!

So, the remaining supply is in less competition with itself, so each is worth more?

The simpler the better. It makes my following argument more solid.

No they don't. People aren't all living off credit. It isn't possible to do that.

There will never be unprinting.

Money is not real and now its electronic. They can refuse to produce to try to ween inflation and adjust rates but, like I said, it's all pretend.

But if it wasn't, yes the dollar raises in value based on sheer mathematics alone. There's no way it cannot if there is less dollars. It's a competitive exchange for goods with the device.

This is the bucket we keep making larger and filling up (globally). Once the dollar makes its way into further cracks in foreign economies, our "bucket" is ready to be changed out and more money printed (made larger).

Beware of BRICS. It breaks everything. I'd suggest you be ready to grow your own food and kill your neighbor because it's the worse case if even a fraction of our markets are taken from us via a country's economic independence.

All that money comes flooding back in causing hyper inflation.

I'll cut to the chase on this.

I think people overrate the billionaire influence on their own lives. Ordinary plebs are not in competition with billionaires. Most of the wealth of the mega rich is inactive in the economy, at least at a basic consumption level.

If you liquidate the billionaires we all get a bit more money, once, with a corresponding inflationary burst which all but destroys the value of your one off increase in numerical wealth.

Then you decline the economy until the power void is filled with whatever the new limitations are on wealth.

Billionaires own large swaths of the permanent economy as well as produce many billions more in operative economics, employment, and consumption.
