Russia lands spacecraft on the moon

In a thousand fukking pieces LMAO holy fuk how embarrassing is this? In their race to show everyone they are on par as far as spade technology goes, their spacecraft exploded into the moon and they have no idea what happened. God dayum it must suck to be a Russian.

Up until 2020, the USA DEPENDED on Russian superior rockets to even get to space. You conveniently skip over this fact.

Putin make OP big mad.

If you look at that picture and think that tin can made it through our atmosphere into a perfect vacuum and somehow even got close to the moon, then I don't know what to tell you anymore.

They're always just so gosh darn close!

Not really worthy news.

The soviet space program was top notch. The modern Russian space agency is pretty poverty.

wtf do those countries have to do with this? Not to mention, Sergei Korolev of the Soviet Luna program was Ukrainian, so your logic is dumb as **** if I even entertain it.

If you adjust for inflation, the price tag for the original Apollo program was over $200billion in 2023 dollars

Probably more like $250billion

By winning do you mean the two week special operation that was suppoed to take Kiev but has turned into a 2+ year stalemate that's shown nothing but what a POS the Russian military is and that has ruined the Russian economy? Oh the ruble is worth about a penny now.

That's some bigly winning right there boyo...

Been following this as I'm a space nerd, disappointing for the engineers & other staff. South pole of the moon is the new frontier.

Triggered. You should check your **** bag, it seems to be overflowing. Surprised you didn't slip a "cultist" in there too.

Also LOL at OP, this is what "winning" looks like for him since his mail order brides boyfriends are getting wasted by the thousands in the great "counteroffensive". The F-16s are going to be the game changer though!

There was a live feed, boyo. The pan and title was pre-programed.

Anyone with a 2nd grad education could have made the calculations on when to start it, how fast, what angle, etc.
