New Balance was never a luxury brand they were affordable.
When I was into the underground hip hop scene in the early 2000s and subscribing to URB and going to local shows here in the LBC, I used to rock New Balance shoes with Triple 5 soul etc
I think im going to buy some again cause the ones I used to wear were very comfortable

Chunky white dad sneakers have ironically come into fashion now. You see alot of 20 something's wear them now, guys and girls.

I think they just rebranded by having them sold in places like Nordstroms. Most highfashiontrends filters downward.
