I wish I could sleep that much. 6.5 to 7 is pretty much all I get now. Every once in a while, (maybe once a month) I get 8 and it's magical.

Sleep is the time you recover from the stresses of the day.

if you arent getting it, you simply arent recovering properly which means you wont perform at your peak the next day.

This is called a scientific fact. Not some internet get rich quick nonsense.

Pro tip- rich people sleep like normal people, they just do it in a nicer bedroom.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

this whole sleeping 4-5 hrs thing has been debunked many times.

there is no point in doing this for extended periods unless you want to die early with all that money.

They sleep more when they get rich, hence why i said until you make a million, you need to sacrifice sleep to work harder

I know 4 hours sleep isn't optimal, you think I give a fuk? You have to be able to out compete others to get there, not sleep like a female

I can get by at about 75% of my potential on 4-5 hours of sleep, but not 2 hours.

I think the sweet spot for me is about 6, because I can maximize my time and still be at nearly 100%.

Edit: When I was 30, I could get by pretty well with 4, but as I’ve gotten older, I can’t do that anymore.

6 is still fine, if you do 6 hours for 6 days of the week you're still getting an extra half a day (every week) compared to 8 hour sleepers.

You can get a chit load done if you have an extra half a day every week

It's crazy but my natty sleep pattern has changed over the years. In my 20s, I really focused on getting 9 hours or so. It felt super good and I naturally woke up around that 9 hour mark. Now that I'm mid 30s, I can't stay in bed for more than 8. I'm consistently sleeping 7 hours. Everyone is different so for optimal health, people need to figure out what feels best physically and mentally.

There is no way I would be getting the gains I do in the gym if I only slept for 6 hours a night. Not a chance in hell. 7-8 is perfect for me.

Sleeping <8 hours = starving your brain.

EVERYTHING you do is worse when you are sleep deprived. You are foggy mentally, slow socially, lose strength, can't focus. You are basically choosing to be a zombie and turn your brain to mush.

At best, it's an expensive way to buy another 2-4 hours, at the cost of a chitty 18. It's nothing to celebrate or look up to.

I can only sleep about 4-5 hours a night srs

I think I have this gene

Scientists identified a gene that causes people to naturally sleep less than six and a half hours each night without any apparent ill effects.

101% fake news. Anyone who actually believes sleeping less will help them be more successful, gl on your long term goals. Many marketers tried that approach and barely lasted a few months (some years) before falling apart. Getting enough sleep is very important for maximum productivity. I'm sure those who sleep less did drugs to compensate, but that chit is not a good way to live, srs.

Except, the wealthy tell bs lies to motivate the poor to put in max, because this keeps people working harder and it helps businesses that the rich have invested in or have friends who benefit from it. I can't help but marvel when I see people swearing that "so and so billionaire only sleeps 4 hours a day and look where he is." ****ing lol @ actually believing that.
