How Much Am I Supposed To Have In My Pension By 65?
Like what's the general, respectable amount?
Bare in mind I plan to be dead by 80

With Biden’s inflation you’ll need $3Mill bare minimum to afford basic care

But the real answer is "more than you can afford, pal".

Life is not worth living anyway when you're old and decrepit.
Might as well go the Rich Piana route.

Consider yourself lucky that you're vested. Most companies don't offer it and those who do have it, got it before companies did away with it. You have no control over how much you should have. Its the company's investments and it's not like you can contribute to it like a 401k. Just have to ride it out long term and be grateful you're getting something, cause its better than nothing. Also, if you're only relying on a pension for retirement, I've got some bad news. Pretty sure too if you ever leave the company, you're still considered vested so don't let them forget it. That money is still yours.
