Do you think there should be a maximum age limit to be President of the Amerilands?
The Ameribrahs seem to choose Presidents that are very old.
Sleepy Joe kicking it around the White House doesn’t seem to know where he is half the time.
Personally think 50-60 is peak age for countries leader.
Old enough to have experience and wisdom,
Young enough to understand and relate to younger generations.
Thoughts?

I think 40 should be the max since your fluid intelligence starts decreasing from 30-40.
Give me some navy seal, electrical engineer type with an MBA from Wharton who’s built a start up president over some oldcel srs or in my case a drama teacher Prime minister

I think it's less about age (to a certain point) than it is about health and evidence of cognitive abilities.
Presidential candidates should be put through physical tests/exams (nothing too strenuous), and cognitive tests/exams. There are coherent and competent people in their 80s+, just comes down to health and genetics. I think Biden didn't hit the lottery with his genetics.
If I had to pick an age limit though to be safe, I'd consider this rhetoric. "The estimated average age of onset of dementia in the United States is 83.7 years old (Plassman et al. 2011)," and "the estimated average age of late-onset Alzheimer's is 65." So if you're 61 or older, and you're a presidential candidate, you should be tested for Alzheimer's. If you're 79 or older, you should be tested for dementia. Early signs/symptoms should disqualify you. And if you'd rather say phark it to the tests, just set the age limit to 61. And if you're a former president wanting a second term, tough nuts if you're now 61+.

That's ageism boyo...........but yes.
Should be age limits on all government positions. Why is it that the normies retire at 65/67 but politicians can "serve" well into their 80's and beyond.
I know several 80+ year olds and most of them probably shouldn't even be living by themselves.

Most people seem to think age should have a limit.
And testing of sorts to make sure medically sound.

George HW Bush was the last President of the Greatest Generation
Clinton was the first Boomer President.
Followed by George W Bush, Obama, and Trump...all Boomers.
And now with Biden we are now with the Silent Generation.
Its now 2023.....Now what about Gen X?
Canada has even had a Gen X leader.

I see no reason why they dont have age limits. Lots of things do.
A max time on total elected office would work as well. None of this politician for life bs.

Would set maximum amount of time to hold office as 8 years.
