Yeah that is a real shame all those other people died as well. IF it was an assassination of the coup leader and they knew the others were going to be killed as well?

Blew the wing off and had a large debris field so that indicates it was a pretty big bomb and chances are everyone on board was killed instantly or rather quickly or wasn't really aware of what was going on when it was falling. Then again, there have been studies on plane crashes where people were thrown out of the plane at 30K feet and signs they were alive when they hit the ground.
