How many weeks of paid vacation per year is the bare minimum you should accept?

currently get x 2 vacation and x 2 sick but would rather have 4 weeks vacation (first year at job)

Most places don't treat sick days any different than vacation days so what does your situation matter?

Depends on your experience level. Entry-level then two weeks. I'm nearing 20 years and I wouldn't take a new job with less than three weeks of vacation plus a week of sick leave or four weeks paid time off.

3 weeks. with 14 federal holidays on top of it, you really cant complain much

I get eight weeks in the summer, two weeks over Christmas, a week in the spring, and a few days over Thanksgiving.

And I currently have over forty sick days built up.

4 is minimum

When i was at costco I had like 6 weeks, was pretty good

After holiday rush they'd offer unpaid time off to cut hours

I'd always use some vaca and some unpaid and take like 6-8 weeks off lolol

I wouldn't be happy with any less PTO than I get now. Hit my 10 years so I think I have 5-6 weeks. This past year they changed our year from renewing in the fall to calendar year so this year was wonky. They said they prorated some days to get through the couple extra months but pretty sure they gipped us.

4 weeks of annual then 2.5 weeks of sick leave a year.. I think that's what we have, something like that

Came ITT to say 4 weeks minimum. Plus all the standard US holidays, which should be like 8 days.

A job offer gets bonus points to me if it has 5 weeks or more off, and/or the opportunity for more vacation time as you get more tenure.

My current gig gives a little over 5 weeks off, with the opportunity for 6, and then 7, if I stay here for pretty much my entire career lol.

bare min, 3. wood take significantly less pay though for like, 8+ which in my opinion should be the bare minimum allowed by law.
