Unless they are getting a degree in some worthwhile thing, its just a waste of money that is now some sort of right of passage.

I would have been pissed if my parents tricked me into a huge debt to start my life with.

As it was, i retired early after having never gone and slacking pretty much my entire life. Dont get me wrong, i worked hard but was never motivated or enjoyed it.
