Favourite Stephen King Book

Would recommend 'Joyland', coming of age meets murder mystery/haunted house. Found rather enjoyable.

Of course Salems Lot is always a good read.

Hard to pick a favorite honestly, I REALLY like quite a few of them. Maybe Pet Sematary though.

The Stand and it's not even close. Actually I often refer to The Stand as my favorite overall book regardless of author or genre.

Although I have read Different Seasons (which had the short story source material for Stand by Me and Shawshank Redemption in it) and that was very good too.

Agreed with poster above me that The Stand miniseries is one of the GOAT TV shows (as long as we're talking about the 1994 version).

Watching The Outsider now on HBO. It's decent, probably wouldn't watch a second season if they made one

The book was very good. I couldn't stay awake during the show and ended up ditching it.

Stephen King's books are too bizarre usually so I admit haven't read a ton of them.

Mr Mercedes out of the ones I've read is the best I suppose.
