Rogue vs Titan equipment
https://www.garagegymreviews.com/tit...-rack-showdown
An actual on topic thread!!!! It's an older article, but stil worth reading.
This guy says the Titan is adequate, but cuts corners. Rogue is worth the extra money for the superior build quality.
Man, Titan’s welds are ugly. There’s really no getting around that. But again, there’s a reason they’re able to keep their costs so low. If minor details like the appearance of the welds on the rack annoy you, then Titan probably isn’t a company you’d buy equipment from anyways.
There’s a reason that all of Rogue’s welds are so clean. This is a part of their products that outperform all other companies. You won’t see spotty welds on Rogue equipment because it won’t pass quality control, and if it somehow did get past QC and ended up on your doorstep, then they’ll make it right…FAST.
the Rogue R-3 was more resistant to scratching and after rubbing the scratches, the one on the Rogue pretty much blended in. The scratch on the Titan T-3 stood out plain as day.

Bump for lifting/home gym thread.
Honestly if I were to deck out a home gym from scratch I don't think I'd be skimping. Titan is probably good enough tho. Good to have competition in the same sector. Keeping an eye on this for my own home gym in the.futire.

I have an A-frame for fixed barbells from Titan. Seems fine enough.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Welds on a titan A-frame for reference. I dunno about their other equipment.

I need to do some dusting.

I went all Rogue for my home gym. But Titan would suffice.
If you want to really mog though go with Sorinex.

Rep fitness is worth mentioning too
AND they offer free shipping. I’m almost positive they’re based in the US too, just like Rogue. Out of Colorado I think?
Idk how the hell they manage to offer free shipping tho and Rogue can’t do that. Rep fitness literally offers free shipping on everything and that’s a huge plus
Most of my stuff is Rogue, but I’m strongly thinking about buying a full urethane db set from Rep simply cuz I’ll get free shipping and beat out Rogue on price

Who gives a fook about scratches on a rack?
I have a Titan T-3 stand because it was all I could get during the pandemmi. If you saw the stands that I replaced you would know that Titan is waaaay over engineered. I've never even looked at the welds & there is no way I would pay more for prettier welds. Wood buy again.

Rep stuff is made overseas, but my impression has been they have a better reputation for quality control than Titan. My main bar is a rogue Ohio power bar and I use Rogue collars and an Echo bike. I have an SSB from Titan. So, I've given money to all three and I really don't have any complaints about any of it.Rep fitness is worth mentioning too
