The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

wtf. Just read Gatti "gained 19lb" overnight. So it was 160lb vs 141lb.

Initial thoughts seems to be Gatti rigged the weigh in to make weight. "He was partially on the scales during weigh in". No way that accidentally happens and the guy amazingly JUST makes weigh in (then proceeds to bulk 19lb in water in less than 24h).

Luis Resto removed some of the padding in his gloves and possibly had concrete plaster in there. The guy he pummeled lost his vision and ate a bullet.

From boxing, yus.

I've seen more brutal knockouts from elbows, but that's from street fights, MMA, etc. Anything goes.

If you constrain it to boxing, I've honestly never seen a KO that brutal. The way his head snapped back and forth.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

Doesn't every boxing match cause brain damage? The boxers take a lot of punches, even while blocking them it's causing their brain to bounce around in their skull

Seen way more savage in person; if we are talking sporting than maybe.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Got any stories? You talking about seeing bar fights or something?

Also, early UFC had some brutal KO's. They didn't have gloves back then and there were very few rules

Prison fights, wish I could pull our cameras but dat der confidentiality; plenty on Youtube though.

Seen more than a few heads stomped in.

And yeah they sneak phones in, not that uncommon to find them.

Had one a few weeks back, got his ass beat for running his mouth, looked like Mr. Potato head after. He got back from the hospital and they 2 on 1 beat his ass again; so bad he could barely walk after returning the second time from the hospital. Fractured both orbital bones, lost 2 teeth and 19 stitches. He went to a different yard, I had to pick him up from our on-site hospital at 0300ish to take him, all fcked up; he wont last, he talks too much sht.
