*almost* every day.
Don't like it, but thats the only way to move around the city (I am never home, so the other option would be renting a different car every single day... or use uber).
But lets be honest here, if you are in Europe, trains and subways are not that bad. I just can't stand buses.
btw, is taxi/uber public transportation?

When my fam first came to the States we had to take public transportation to places like Walmart. I remember it being fun since I was a kid. Now, I'd rope before taking pub transport lol. I don't even go to public libraries anymore since its abused by bums.

Never.

Never.
If you want to count stuff like taxis and ubers as "public transportation", then exceptionally sparingly, but it does happen once in a rare while.

To the guys saying they NEVER take it. How do you do when you travel? Rent car? Uber?

Not much at all.
I like it and wish it was better but the truth is it just sucks and takes forever to be useful at all.
Maybe if I lived in nyc or tokyo or something like that it would be better.
The problem is that the people who manage it and plan the routes and wait times and such never actually use the system.
Its like when they say its ride you bike to work day an the politician rides his bike like 100 ft in a suit and then gets back in his limo.

Every day. Don't deal with gas prices and traffic. Feels good living near the city.

Public transportation in the US is a joke. Europe has it figured out better.

Almost never. I've ventured on the subway a couple times while visiting DC and NY; was not impressed.
Otherwise I take my car like a civilized individual. I'd rather drink my coffee, listen to my music, and not be packed in an aluminum tube like sardines with people who practice questionable hygiene practices.
