This is the solution, and it's been that way for a while in western countries.

We mostly need to perfect robotics and AI. Once "the economy" is self-sustaining and robots/AI provide the necessities, money loses its relevance as a unit of exchange enabling trade because it's unnecessary, people can scale back the work/stress and make babies all day long

Yeah, not many sane rational people are looking to start a family when they can barely afford to feed themselves or keep a roof over their own head.

Eh I think you'd find birth rates go up as you move down the socioeconomic scale, people struggling to put food on the table are the ones having the most babies. And it's the same on a country level, declining birth rates happens in advanced countries and less-advanced countries are the ones popping them out like crazy.

But all of these + other reasons are why the other groups aren't having as many kids, higher earners are usually waiting until later in life after they've set things up and are at certain points in their careers etc
