This is referring to Denver metro area (and not actually in Denver downtown)

- The suburbs in the north and the suburbs in the south are vastly different. The north is pro-weed and you will often see people smoking out in public. The south however, seems to be anti-weed, as a lot of places have a smoking ban, and I've never actually smelled it down here. Even driving styles are different, as the north people will speed/cut you off constantly but in the south it's more civil. The south however has a ton of traffic cams, so that's probably why.

- The general population seems very young, even in the upperclass neighborhoods. This also applies to the homeless. My old city the homeless seemed to be like 40+ but here you will see mostly 20 year olds.

- lots of groundhogs

- lots of hitchhikers

Overall, I would say so far I prefer my old city. Denver area is definitely more ripe with new businesses and young professionals though. Also the women seem to be better looking.
