Best games so far since 2020:

Baldur's Gate 3 - not only GOTY 2023, but maybe even game of the decade. Potentially the best RPG ever made.
Ghost of Tsushima - very fun gameplay, good story, gorgeous visuals and aesthetics. The opening title drop where the music swells as you're riding across the field, holy FUK. This 100% was GOTY over Last of Us 2.



3rd spot is still open. I've played many games but none really stand out too highly above the others. It's definitely not Starfield.

Just kidding it's Elden Ring easily.

I actually thought about mentioning this one too. Half Life Alyx hands down is the best VR game ever made. Just like Half Life 2 releasing back in 2004 with the Havoks physic engine was a huge step forward with its amazing gameplay and visuals, so too was Half Life Alyx. It literally showed what was possible with VR.

Too bad VR is too cumbersome to use, but still was a very good game.
