Haven't been to the dentist since 2006.

When will I begin to suffer consequences?

You ever hear of brushing/flossing?

WAY better value than going to the dentist every day.

I guess so.

Never had a tooth ache or whatever. My parents had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was about 17 and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Not one person has seen the inside of my mouth since.

For anybody wondering, I brush and floss once per day right before bed. In the morning I don't bother because why would I? I don't eat until about 11am or so, so it would be pointless to brush in the AM.

I think the longest I went without was 6 years, and the hygienist told me my teeth didn't look bad at all.

Where the fuk are you getting your teeth cleaned that it feels GOOD?

Always a 0/10 experience every time I went back in the day.

I'm actually in the USA.

was raised with 2x/year dental visits, braces, wisdom teeth extraction.... the whole 9 yards.

I've paid my dues and I've retired from the dental lifestyle.

Enjoy the deep cleaning and deep ass fucking you're going to get with the bill even with dental insurance.

I use mineral tooth powder, floss, do oil pulling and have a dental plaque remover kit. No need for the dentist for me.

Went last year for the first time in 11 years. They seemed really worried, but then told me they never would've been able to tell if I hadn't said anything.

Brush twice a day, floss at night, and drink water nearly 100% of the time.

I'd say you've got nothing to worry about.

I had a buddy in HS that had braces put on but then never went back to the dentist. He ended up removing them himself in his garage with needle nose pliers.

I still have my permanent lower retainer across my lower 4 teeth. Surprised it hasn't rusted out by now.

If you don't have bleeding gums when you brush, you're good. That's the main problem with those who don't regularly visit the dentist.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

You really don't.

Some cavities don't hut. Plus... tartar is most definitely present there.
