How "pushy" should you be about paying for date?

Posting here because based/redpill advice.

Went on a date with a chunky doctor a while back. I invited her to a fancy cocktail place, we both have like $20 drinks.

End of the date, I offer to pay. She's like "no, let's split." I'm like K cool.

Too late to do anything now, but in the future, do I be more pushy about paying for it? "You can cover next time", type thing?

Nowadays with feminism n chit some women want to feel empowered by paying for their end of the deal on 1st dates. If they insist Iโ€™ll ask are you sure and if they still do then I let them. Always ends well like that. They donโ€™t like it when you are too pushy about paying - they see it as an over compensation or something.

I would only find it a bit weird if she insists on paying continuously multiple times

She says "No I'll pay" or "Let's split the bill"
I say "Are you sure? I have no problem paying."
She says "Yes"

and I leave it at that. I will follow it up with "I'll cover it next time, then." If they are offering then no need to fuss over it.

I haven't been on a date in alongtime, but I don't split bills withanybody, friends, family, business or whatever. One person pays the bill and it evens out over time.

When you are in college and everybody is broke, splitting bills is fine; but as grown ass adults with decent or halfway decent jobs, splitting bills is embarassing.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

Depends on the girl. I usually pay, but one girl I was with insisted (it wasn't just a token offer) so I obviously let her. She also wanted to smash and came back.

Is she a resident or has she finished? Residents don't make a lot of money, but they make good money when finished.

From my experience, female physicians, or any high level career woman, don't need to be financially supported. If she agreed to to go out with you, and she makes more money than you do, and she knows it, there is a chance the message is "that's ok". Don't believe it was because she wasn't in to you. My wife and I went Dutch a lot when we dated.
