I prefer animals over humans

Not that I hate humans. Exact word is DISLIKE. I dislike most of the people that I've encountered everyday without them knowing it. lol I know a lot of people but only a very few I considered real true friends. These are the type of friends who I know will stick with me thru better or worse.


Sadly most people are self centered, ungrateful, etc. * vomit*

I'm plenty misanthropic, but this take always bugs me. Feels super cope-y like MGTOW (they don't actually want to go their own way; they're forced to) or even internet weebs saying they prefer 2d women. Brb deny reality and live in fantasy.

I guess you (OP) haven't gone that into it, so this may or may not apply to you, but what bothers me about these is the person stating these preferences never admits that it's a failure or laments that they're in this situation. There's a good chance I wind up coping some way like this, in romance and/or bodily function, but damn, I am NOT going to walk around acting like my coping is ideal.

not gonna lie, there are certainly animals i think contribute more in my life than humans. but i also think there are humans i'd save over random animals
