I'm pretty sure most research from actual scientific sources in the past ~5 years suggests .6 to .8 grams per pound bodyweight.
A 200 lb lifter doesn't need more than 160 grams on the high end.

Natty, 180 LEAN weight so 180g/day for me, but I just round up to 200g/day to be on the safe side.
Made the most gains. Anyone eating .5gr/lean BW or less is just not working hard enough in the gym.
