His initial economic policies were great and the wall just seemed like a dumb and ineffective idea but yeah have to admit he is at least better than a senile old man with the question mark that is he also one of those or becoming one of those. No question though he is less senile than Biden and that's probably enough justification if a question between the two of them. Come on though US, wake up, this is your choice? Say what you want buy Mayor Eric Adams actually better than most other mayors in NYC. Hes pretty tough on crime and seems to take a stance against illegal immigration. ITs the best you can expect from a city like NY

If Trump was going to make any meaningful changes to immigration, he would have to change the filibuster rules so that immigration reform could get passed with just 50 votes. He would need 50 votes +1 (or the VP vote) to do that. He had 52 senate seats in 2017. All he had to do was get 50 republicans to vote for reforming the filibuster, + the VP vote and done. He could have passed a merit based immigration system, got rid of chain based migration, set limits on the number of immigrants etc. Instead he tried to get rid of Obamacare (failed) and passed tax cuts(which are good but will expire) and focused on Twitter wars with random people.

He had the opportunity to completely reform immigration, but choose not to. Also, if a merit based immigration system passed, a democrat would likely not end it because it works better

People pretend like he is some sort of god. He never even accomplished him main goal, which is to decrease third world immigration.
