Nope. Most has too much sodium as is

Only thing I ever really used it for was for like corn on the cob.

Never. Food already has anywhere between enough and too much salt by the time it hits the plate. Or it doesn't need it.

If it’s fries or corn, yes.

I guess putting soy sauce on Asian food is the same thing, so yes there.
