Pediatric dietary advice is mostly ****

Was at my buddy’s place the other day and he has three young sons, they basically follow their pediatrician advice to the letter when it comes to diet, keep in mind these kids are between 1 and 6 and crazy active

Brb low fat everything, “lean meats only and low fat milk” in small portions
Brb have plenty of grains (w0t)
Brb limit certain fruits
Brb “fresh squeezed bottled juice is fine” (double w0t)

I agree that vegetables should be fair game, but christ boys especially need plenty of high fat high proton red meat and fatty fish to go with fruits and vegetables, grains are basically worthless. They’re definitely giving out sht advice that’s almost guaranteed to breed future soyboys, but I guess compliant males are the goal of the establishment

My kids are gonna eat nothing but meat, eggs, milk, and cheese, with a multi just in case. No organic shyt either, the more hormones the better.

The food my son is willing to eat is the food he is going to eat.

Anyone who has figured out how to get a toddler to consistently eat what you want them to eat feel free to PM me.

I grew up eating ramen noodles, instant mashed potatoes, candy, 5 cans of Wilson Farms brand Mountain Dew per day and I turned out alright. It wasn’t until I started lifting at 15 that I took diet srs.

I argue about dog food with people, too. "Well my vet says feeding dogs 'human food' is bad and they should only eat nestle purina kibble. They're a vet and you're just some guy!"

Canine nutrition isn't even a one quarter class in vet school.
