Jesus: if you're rich, you're not entering Kingdom of Heaven. Was he a commie?!

I have been pondering about this all my life. Still can't find a straight answer to this.

Luke 18:25 - "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God"

Jesus said this of all sinners and men. The only way to God is “through me”. Jesus is the gate. Just because you’re wealthy doesn’t make you above the peasants, nor the prostitutes, thieves, adulterers and other sinners. You have to be willing to give up your worldly possessions, whatever they might be, and “follow me”.

In other words, He’s not saying just because you’re rich you can’t get in, He’s saying it’s impossible without Christ. Following Christ leads one to being charitable, being kind, helping others in ways that might not be possible for others, and helps make one resistant to corruption.

Reading the Bible helps better understand these passages. Taking one line without having read the rest of the New Testament commonly leads to a lack of understanding.It’s also evil to exploit this text for ones’ own greed and envy

Jesus was anti-communism.

Marx was anti-individualism and anti christian.

Karl Marx made it a priority to demonize Christianity for communism because the fundamental principles of the rights of the individual started with Christ's teachings. In other words, liberty was created by Christ, and capitalism was created through liberty.

So no. Jesus wasn't a commie.
